Singapore, 12th October 2005 - Epson, the world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions has announced the launch of the EPSON Stylus™ C67. Suitable for general home users, the EPSON Stylus™ C67 is the ideal inkjet solution that promises economical and durable printouts of superb quality.

The EPSON Stylus™ C67 uses Epson's revolutionary DURABrite™ Ultra ink, allowing users to achieve durable, water- and smudge-resistant prints affordably. It is capable of printing BorderFree™ images of up to A4 in size, and with its optimised dpi of 5760 and 4 picolitre droplet size, users can expect excellent print quality on specialty paper and even on plain paper.

Economical, affordable home solution with INKdividual™
The EPSON Stylus™ C67 uses DURABrite™ Ultra INKdividual™ cartridges for a more economical, affordable home solution. Users need only change the ink cartridge that runs out, maximising efficiency and lowering the total cost of printing. Each cartridge contains a chip to let users monitor the amount of ink left in each cartridge and prompts when ink levels are low. The intelligent Black Ink Save mode creates a composite black when black ink runs low to ensure that printing can continue till the black ink cartridge is replaced.

Excellent print quality on plain paper with improved glossiness and added paper support
Utilising Epson's Variable-Sized Droplet Technology™, the EPSON Stylus™ C67 delivers amazing prints at a blazing 17 page per minute speed for black text printing and up to 9 pages per minute for colour text printing. Combined with Epson's Preferred Colour Technology, vivid and brillant colours on both plain and photo paper can be achieved. The effect is particularly outstanding when printing true BorderFree™ photo prints on EPSON Premium Glossy Photo Paper and the new EPSON Ultra Glossy Photo Paper; the heaviest and glossiest paper currently available.

Easy to use features and software for added creativity
Epson's unique driver features and the new bundled Epson software provide users with useful functions for editing and fun for creative and quality printouts.  Achieve effects such as monochrome printing, sepia printing and parchment, as well as optimising images to look similar to conventional silver halide prints from the photo lab by selecting the PhotoEnhance mode.

New EPSON Creativity Suite bundled software
The EPSON Stylus™ C67 includes the easy to use EPSON Easy Photo Print, EPSON file manager for easy editing and toggling between the various bundled software, and a photo utility. The EPSON File Manager has a red-eye reduction function and also allows users to automatically resize photos or run slide shows of selected images.

For a dash of creativity, users can frame their favourite photographs with Epson's Print Image Framer or design their own frames with Epson's Print Image Framer Designer.

EPSON Web-to-Page 1.1 Toolbar and Print Image Matching (P.I.M) III
The EPSON Web-to-Page Toolbar appears as a button in the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 5.5 or later for added ease of use. This toolbar is a convenient web utility to optimise web pages to conform to the required print size, ensuring no text or image is cropped in the printout.

The EPSON Stylus™ C67 supports the widely adopted Exif standard and Epson's P.I.M III, making it the ideal companion for your digital camera. Improved features in Epson's P.I.M III and colour correction for monochrome images allows users to obtain prints with particularly vivid colours.
