Singapore, 7 November 2007 - Epson, a world leader in digital imaging, announced the launch of the EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F multifunction printer (MFP) inkjet printer. Equipped with high-speed fax, built-in automatic document feeder (ADF) and a user-friendly interface featuring a 2.5" LCD screen, the new MFP is the indispensable workhorse for any office environment.
High-speed fax and built-in ADF
The traditional MFP with print, scan, copy function is now complete with the high-speed fax feature. Similar to standalone fax machines, the EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F transmits monochrome and colour faxes at 33.6k kilobits per second and stores up to 60 speed dials.
For hands free scan and copy jobs, a built-in 30-sheet capacity ADF sits on top of the MFP for enhanced productivity.
2.5" LCD screen and intuitive control panel
EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F is the only fax-based MFP with a large 2.5" tiltable colour LCD screen in its class. Coupled with the intuitive control panel, it allows easy navigation of photo and fax functions. In addition, it communicates basic information on ink volumes, operation status and maintenance functions via the LCD screen.
The MFP also comes with an extensive card slot bay which supports most common types of memory cards. The 2.5" tiltable LCD screen also allows users to experience PC-less printing in three simple steps - select photo, select media and print. Alternatively, users can print via PictBridge devices.
Improved EPSON DURABriteTM Ultra inks - the perfect sidekick
The EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F uses improved EPSON DURABriteTM Ultra inks to produce printouts that are water, fade and smudge resistant. These qualities are essential for businesses as they guard printed documents against accidental spills, premature fading and highlighter smudges. The improved EPSON DURABriteTM Ultra inks not only ensure durable prints, it also offers sharp quality text and glossier photo finishes which is perfect for users who do occasional photo printing.
Optional high capacity black ink cartridge
In view of the increasing volume of office document printing, users with higher print volumes would be pleased to learn that the EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F is compatible with either the high capacity or standard capacity black ink cartridge. The choice allows users to decide the most economical solution according to their personal printing demands. The black ink cartridge, together with the other three colour ink cartridges, comes in individual cartridges for maximum savings as you only need to replace what you need.
High quality + high speed for flawless performance
While quality and speed are crucial to your office productivity, the EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F is also highly reliable with the award-winning Micro Piezo* print head. The print head offers consistent performance with fast print speed of up to 32 pages per minute for draft A4 black text and colour documents. You can also expect razor sharp results with high print resolutions of up to 5760 dots per inch.
Copy speeds and scan resolutions are also notable at 30 pages per minute (draft) and 1200 dots per inch respectively.
Prized for its versatility, MFPs are firmly established as the preferred choice over separate IT peripherals for SOHOs and small office. In meeting this demand, the EPSON Stylus™ CX9300F MFP provides a convenient one-stop solution for high quality print, scan, copy and fax demands. Priced at S$328, the printer is available from 9 November 2007.
