With its multitude of easy-to-use features, the Epson EB-S6/X6/W6 projectors are ideal for a wider range of business, education and home environments.

The Epson EB-W6 features 2000 ANSI lumens and WXGA resolution, delivering USB video, VGA video and HDMI connectivity for high-definition quality video and digital audio from just one cable. It also offers slideshow functionality via a USB thumb drive or an SD card for easy sharing of pictures and a 7W speaker for great sound. The Epson EB-S6 with XGA resolution and the Epson EB-X6 with SVGA resolution features 2200 ANSI lumens of brightness and, with a 2000:1 contrast ratio for all three models, users are assured of better image quality.

The Epson EB-S6/X6/W6 offer Epson’s proprietary USB “Plug and Project” connectivity, a hassle free way to configure the projector to any system for a fast and easy connection.

For quick projection on the spot, users simply connect a USB cable and can begin using the projector immediately. With the attached remote control, users can navigate the pages of their presentations from anywhere in the meeting room or classroom.

Epson EB-W6 – An affordable enhancement to the home theatre experience
With its WXGA resolution, the Epson EB-W6 is ideal for use with widescreen laptops and DVD content. Boasting a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) capability, the Epson EB-W6 offers a good alternative to users who require a large screen size to enhance their High Definition viewing – but at a lower budget as compared to other home entertainment projectors.

Flexible usage
Due to their lightweight design and with a maximum weight of 2.8kg, the Epson EBS6/X6/W6 projectors not only offers portability for mobile presentations, but can also be mounted on the ceiling!

In addition, the PC-less capability of the Epson EB-S6/X6/W6 projectors also allows users to run a presentation via the USB port or PC card slot.

Enhancing the experience during presentation
The Epson EB-S6/X6/W6 projectors also include the AV Mute Sliding feature that is certainly useful when the presentation has to be paused for a few minutes. By simply sliding the cover over the lens, the projector automatically goes into AV mute mode. The internal fan noise is subsequently reduced, thus allowing the presenter to continue talking without the distraction of the projection on screen. The projector resumes operation immediately when the presenter slides open the cover - effectively removing unwanted delay in turning off and turning on the projector.

Equipped with Epson’s proprietary 3LCD technology, the projectors will also project more vibrant and natural images that are clearer and easier on the eye without any dither noise or colour break-up that is common in the other projector technology in the market.

Energy and time efficiency
The Epson EB-S6/X6/W6 projectors also feature the energy-efficient E-TORL™ (Epson-Twin Optimise Reflection Lamp) lamp which allows each projector to achieve more efficiency by projecting more lumens (brightness) per watt. This technology also allows the lamp to lasts up to 4000 hours! The patented lamp not only ensures clear visibility in light rooms, but also provides increased brightness at lower power consumption than standard lamps.

The Instant-Off function with zero cooling down time is certainly ideal for busy users. Simply hit the power button and unplug the power cable after the presentation, an instant pack-and-go feature aimed at providing the much-needed convenience to users on the move.

Auto Keystone Correction
The Epson EB-X6 and Epson EB-W6 projectors also feature the Auto Keystone Correction function, which requires no manual push button or menu interaction to correct any vertical distortion.

Instead, the feature automatically detects the projector's vertical inclination and adjusts the vertical keystone distortion instantly – and thus ensuring seamless presentations in virtually any setting.

About 3LCD Technology
3-panel Liquid Crystal Display ('3LCD') is a projection system using three LCD panels (also known as high-temperature polysilicon or HTPS). A projector with the 3LCD system uses dichroic mirrors to break the white light from the lamp into red, green and blue light. Each of the three colors of light is then passed through its own LCD panel and then recombined by a prism before being projected onto the screen. The result is smooth-moving images with rich, full color, since all three basic colors are included in each pixel of the projected image at all times. Images projected with 3LCD are bright, natural and are gentle on the eyes.
