The Epson GT-1500 is the perfect partner for greater efficiency.  The scanner is equipped with ReadyScan LED technology that helps scanning tasks get off to an immediate start with zero warm-up time.

As a standard feature, the scanner is fitted with an ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), which holds up to 40 sheets of A4 paper at a time.  With the ADF, users can accomplish scanning tasks at speeds of up to 18 ppm (pages per minute) for monochrome documents, and 12 ppm for full colour documents.

The Epson GT-1500 makes repetitive scanning tasks a breeze.  With four push buttons located at the front panel, users can assign up to 10 different presets.  This enables users to recall fixed settings at the touch of a single button, hence saving the inconvenience of bothersome resets.

For the seamless experience, the scanner's Correct Document Skew feature is smart enough to detect slanted documents placed on the input tray and automatically straighten the images.
 
Comprehensive software options
Offering a comprehensive set of Adobe document file formats, users have a variety of options such as saving scanned documents into searchable PDF for easy retrieval by tagging key words and phrases, or into Encrypted PDF for security purposes.  For editing, the bundled ABBYY FineReader 6 Sprint Plus backed with advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software intelligently recognises text characters and scans paper documents into editable computer files.

To help beginners set up a digital archive, PageManager 8 is a powerful yet easy-to-use software. It performs simple document management but scans with high level of accuracy, whilst retaining the format and layout of the original document.
