Besides giving high quality printouts for photographs, the EPSON Stylus Photo R230 is also capable of producing ultra-sharp black text documents by using the 3pl VSDT (Variable Size Droplet Technology) and Advanced Micro Piezo Head, which makes it an ideal printer. Printouts are produced at speeds of 15.8 page per minute (ppm) for black text and 15.3ppm for colours.
Pretty CDs
Days of unmarked or unsightly marked CDs are a thing of the past with the EPSON Stylus Photo R230. Simply customize CDs with pictures and text by using the EPSON Print CD software. The improved front-loading design also makes CD printing extremely convenient.
Colours that please the eyes
EPSON Stylus Photo R230 also features Photo Enhance with Auto Scene Detection together with Standard and Preferred (Vivid) Colour modes. Colours that are more vibrant and alive bring the best out of any image. The vibrant colours in the Preferred Colour mode are achieved by offering natural skin tones, vivid skies and lush greenery. Photographers who demand greater control can also tweak the colours manually for preferred results.
Simple control, convenient design
For ease of ease, the EPSON Stylus Photo R230 offers a simple control panel. With the convenient location of two USB ports, users are able to connect their PC via the front or back easily.
Easy to use features and software for added creativity
Epson's unique driver features and the new bundled Epson software provide users with useful editing functions to deliver creative and quality printouts. By selecting the Photo Enhance mode, effects such as monochrome, sepia and parchment, as well as optimising images to look similar to silver halide prints from the photo lab, can be achieved.
Users can personalise photos using the EPSON Print Image Framer (P.I.F) and the bundled Disney frames, or design other unique frames with the PIF Designer. The convenient EPSON Web-to-Page automatically aligns Internet pages for the required paper size for printing.
