Singapore, 20 May 2008 – Epson, a world leader in digital imaging, announced the launch of the Epson Stylus™ T10 inkjet printer.  Targeted at entry-level users such as students and first-time buyers, the printer blends low price points for both printer and ink cartridges with high quality prints as main attractions.

Classic minimalism with best value proposition
The compact-sized Epson Stylus™ T10 scores high on appeal with an eye-pleasing jet-black finish.  The small form factor means the printer can reside comfortably as a desktop companion without appearing bulky or intrusive.

More than style, the Epson Stylus™ T10 comes with a host of high quality features simply not found on any other printers in its class.  At its heart, the Micro Piezo* print head is the pulse of the printer.  Using the same technologies found on high end Epson printers, the print head produces print resolutions at up to 5760 dots per inch for incredible sharpness.  As an engine, the Micro Piezo prints at 22 pages per minute, and is also capable of printing 4R photos in under a minute.

To help keep costs low, the Epson Stylus™ T10 uses a four-colour individual ink cartridge system - a feature seldom found in entry-level printers.  This system translates to better cost savings since only depleted ink cartridges need to be replaced, as opposed to a combined ink cartridge system which has to be changed as soon as one colour runs dry.

The new printer uses Epson DURABrite™ Ultra Inks, which are known for their outstanding water, smudge and fade resistant qualities.  DURABrite™ Ultra Inks helps guard prints against liquid spills, ensures text stays fast even against highlighter marks, and prevents colours from fading prematurely.  You can be assured that prints stay vibrant for years to come.

Software bundle to complete the printing experience
Epson has included an exciting software bundle to help users achieve photo perfection effortlessly and in the comfort of their own home.  The Epson Easy Photo Print is a straightforward three step guide to photo printing.  Users only have to select the photos, choose the preferred photo size and paper, and hit print to begin.

Also included, Epson PhotoEnhance and Red Eye Correction, which makes automatic adjustments to colours for that perfect photo and removes the common red eye effect respectively.
