Singapore, 20 May 2008 – Epson, a world leader in digital imaging, announced the launch of the Epson Stylus™ TX200 inkjet all-in-one (AIO).  The AIO offers small office and home users the space saving convenience of a printer, scanner and copier in a single converged device.

Minimum fuss, maximum results
Even for first time users, the Epson Stylus™ TX200 is designed to operate with minimum fuss and instruction.  On the top cover, users can find an intuitive set of control buttons to access all the most common functions such as setting the number of copies, selecting paper size, ink status monitor, and others.

At the base of the AIO, there is an extensive card slot bay to support PC-free printing via memory cards and PictBridge.

Prints at high speed and quality
To boost your productivity, the Epson Stylus™ TX200 prints swiftly at 34 pages per minute in draft mode and prints a single 4R photo in 19 seconds (draft mode, with border).  At resolutions of up to 5760 dots per inch, high printing speed is accompanied by sharp print results for superior high quality documents and photos.

To complement the high speed printing, the printer uses Epson's DURABrite™ Ultra Inks that, in addition to their ability to replicate a wide range of colours, are particularly noted for their superb water, smudge and fade resistance.  DURABrite™ Ultra guards prints against all the most frequent user concerns such as accidental spills, smudging due to highlighter use, and fading.  In fact, DURABrite™ Ultra is able to resist premature fading for up to 120 years*.

Scans at high resolutions and copies with ease
The Epson Stylus™ TX200 is equipped with a 1200 dots per inch scanner which is more than capable of handling general A4 scanning jobs.  Like printing, the scanning function can operate without the use of a PC.

The AIO also boasts a high speed copying function rated at 30 copies per minute (draft mode).  The copier is also intelligent enough to automatically resize odd-sized copies into standard A4 size printout.

Features to save you money
To help lower the cost of long-term operations, the Epson Stylus™ TX200 comes in a four individual ink cartridge configuration.  This allows users to replace ink cartridges only as and when needed, rather than having to completely change the entire ink cartridge when only one colour is depleted.

Software for the professional finish
Whether you are printing documents for work, or photos for play, Epson's suite of bundled software turns you into a pro!  With digital files proliferating, Epson's simple to use Creativity Suite makes photo and document management a breeze.

This suite includes Epson Easy Photo Print, which guides users through from selecting photos to printing.  The Dust Removal Tool digitally zaps away dust particles often found in digital images, and the Epson PhotoEnhance, which works like an invisible photo expert to apply automatic professional touch-up to photo prints.

With small office and home users in mind, the Epson Stylus™ TX200 exceeds all basic digital imaging requirements and more without the high price.  The AIO is available from 12 June 2008 and is priced within the pocket at just S$198.  Each ink cartridge is priced at S$17.10.
