Introducing color printers were a hard decision to make
It was not an easy decision to introduce color laser printers in whole sales department.
Of course, knowing that there are many customers comparing our proposals with competitors’ and many field planners complaining the inferiority of our materials.
So, internally we had been considering to purchase new printers but we, however, could not be sure whether it would be worth when it comes to the amount of money to invest and the difficulty of changing whole business system. After a long consideration, we have decided to purchase new printers. We checked 6 companies products and finally selected this Epson AcuLaser C4000 because of the quality of color print as well as its reasonable price. Now, 475 units of Epson AcuLaser C4000 are distributed throughout whole sales offices and other agents.
High quality materials, satisfaction to customers & confidence to field planners
After purchasing color printers, we preceded to standardize all the documents and have professional designers take care of designs so that we could maximize the color effects. With color, we generally tried to make noble images by using pastel tones and make them easy to understand the characteristics of products visually. Furthermore, using corporation identity plan, we attempted to maintain uniformed company image so that customers would recognize what company they are from just by looking at these materials.
Field financial planners are very happy as they can present our products which have much more classy looks, thus they can serve their customers with more confidence. Customers also show very positive responses for they could understand the contents of insurance products more easily which originally complicated and hard to swallow.
Sales is an act creating something out of nothing, therefore, self confidence and motivation of sales persons are more important than anything else. So, even though it might be too early to talk about "cost vs effect", we believe that, by introducing Epson AcuLaser C4000, we made remarkable results in two ways; the one is the image up effect for customers on our
company and products, and the other is the increase of field financial planners’ self confidence. And we expect that these will take us to activation of business and increase sales volume.
Utilization of various options, excellent results in business productivity
We have achieved much more result by utilizing optional functions of the printers in business productivity in our own way. Comparing with the B/W laser printer previously used and could print one side of paper only, this one prints both sides at one time so that you can save time and papers. In addition, if you print all the pages just one side, you have to sign even between pages. But if you use duplex function, you don’t have to be bothered any more.
This Epson printer adopts three paper trays with total capacity of 1,500 sheets, so that you can conveniently use it without having to exchange the size of papers even when you want to print another forms or materials using different quality papers such as policies and receipts. This is thanks to the Epson printer’s driver which enables to lead the most suitable mode automatically for printing materials out.
