‘Giclee’ printing with Epson
SKYblue Digital Imaging produces the exceptional quality digital prints of work using the ’Giclee’ process. ’Giclee’ (zheclay’) is derived from the French word meaning "squirt" and is known in art circles as a digital method of reproducing fine art.
Today, almost all Giclee prints are produced on large format inkjet printers capable of producing millions of colors using digital technology.

Fundamental to this decision was the unsurpassed range of UltraChrome inks that are specifically designed by Epson to combine the vibrancy and brightness of dye-based inks with the longevity and light-fastness of pigments. This achievement is a first for the industry.
