13. How to replace an ink cartridge
1. If the paper is jammed in the paper path, take all the paper
out of the sheet feeder, press the maintenance button, then reload the paper.
Make sure of the following:
n
The paper is smooth,
not curled or wrinkled
n
The paper is of
high-quality, loaded with the printable side up
n
The paper stack was
fanned before loading
n
The paper is not
loaded above the arrow on the left edge guide
n
The left edge guide
is adjusted to fit your paper
n
Make sure that the
printer is on a flat, stable surface that extends beyond the printer base in
all directions. The printer will not operate if it is tilted.

2. If the error light remains on, turn the printer off, open
the printer cover and gently pull out any paper that may be jammed in the paper
path.

to 5 sheets at a time.
