Q: Why does my PC system hangs after I installed the SCSI card AVA-1505 AE for my Epson GT 5500 scanner?
A: When the SCSI card is plug into a system that has an existing sound card, the system might hang. This is due to a address conflict with the sound card. When this happens, user will have to change the J3 Jumper setting on the SCSI card to Off (by default it is On). This will set the address of the I/O Port on the SCSI card to 340h. After this is done, the system wll function as per normal and the SCSI card will also be detected.
