Q: I have just installed an Ethernet card into the LQ 1170 printer and there are some PCs connected to the printer via Ethernet and there is one PC connected via the parallel connection. Why there is no printout when I try to print from the parallel connection?

A: LQ 1170 printer is not autoswitch between the parallel port and the interface card. Thus, in order to print from parallel port, the interface card must be removed from the printer.
