Q: My LQ570+ is installed with a driver, LQ570+ ESC/P2 under Windows 95®. Supposedly, my document should be printed but instead, garbage is printed out from my Windows 95 application. How can this be resolved?
A: Problem lies in printer port not being configured to 'Extended Parallel Port' (EPP) mode. The EPP mode is similar to CPU's read/write structure and provides a high degree of coupling between the peripheral driver and the peripheral. This mode can be changed at system setup or CMOS setup under LPT/Printer mode. The setup can be activated upon booting up the system. |
