  • What is EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty?
     
    • EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty is a service plan designed to offer a flexible and comprehensive service for all EPSON printers, scanners and projectors.
       
    • EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty offer the user onsite service for his/her Hardware during normal business hours (8:30am – 5:30pm), Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.   Depending on the plan purchased, user can enjoy either Next Business day or Premium 4-Hour Response Time for onsite service.  A Carry-In service is also available during normal business hours.  Please note that the extended warranty only covers servicing within mainland Singapore.
       
    • EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty is an assurance that the product will remain trouble-free for a period of 3 years from the date of product purchase.  However, EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty needs to be purchased within 90 days from the date of product purchase.
       
  • 3 Types of Coverage
    User can opt for any of the following plan to have his/her product(s) insured under EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty
     
    • Next Day Response Service
      On-site Service by Next business day after service call is logged, 5x8 (Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays)
       
    • Premium 4-Hour Response Service
      On-Site Service with 4 business hours after service call is logged, 5x8 (Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays)
       
    • Carry-In

Please note that the extended COVERPLUS warranty programme only applies to addresses in mainland Singapore and limited neighbouring, Singapore islands only.

  • Term of Coverage

EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty covers parts and labour for a period of 3 years, from the date of product purchase by the first owner. With that, you can now be trouble-free and have a peace-of-mind.  Let EPSON take care of your worries on hardware failure.

  • Transferability

If the product is sold or relocate to a new site, the extended warranty can be transferred to the subsequent owner to enjoy the remaining period of the 3-year term.

  • How do I purchase EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty?

To purchase EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty, simply complete the application form and made payment directly to EPSON Authorised Reseller or , together with your proof of purchase and cheque payment to EPSON Singapore Pte Ltd.  All application forms must reach EPSON Singapore Pte Ltd within 90 days from the date of product purchase.

Application Form should be submitted personally together with a copy of the original invoice, required payment in either Cheque / Cash or Nets.

  • Reporting a fault while the product is covered by our EPSON COVERPLUS
     
    • Next Business Day Response Service
      If the hardware problem could not be resolved over the phone (i.e. through EPSON HelpDesk), EPSON will send a certified engineer to the user’s location within next business day response time to perform Onsite service.
       
    • Premium 4-Hour Response Service
      If the hardware problem could not be resolved over the phone (i.e. through EPSON HelpDesk), EPSON will send a certified engineer to the user’s location within 4 hours on the same day to perform Onsite service, if service call was logged in before 1.00pm.  For Service Call logged in after 1.00pm, EPSON will response by morning of the next business day.
       

      

If fault cannot be rectified on the phone, an engineer will be despatched within specified response time

                  

    • Carry-In Service
      If the hardware problem could not be resolved over the phone (i.e. through EPSON HelpDesk), user can bring the faulty hardware to EPSON Service Centre.

              
  • Terms & Conditions
     
    • Coverage
      EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty covers parts and labour for a period of 3 years (excluding consumables and maintenance kit), from the date of product purchase by the first owner.  You may refer to Epson Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions for more information.
       
    • Non-Coverage
      Repair, labour and/or transportation will not be covered under EPSON COVERPLUS Extended Warranty Plan if the failure or problem is due to:
       
      • Wear-and-tear, corrosion, rust, stain or physical damage.
         
      • Alteration, modification or repair done to the product by a third party, not authorized by EPSON Singapore.
         
      • Damage caused during transit of product, inappropriate usage (including usage of hardware beyond the specification of the product), excessive usage, or use in any adverse, harsh or abnormal condition.
         
      • The use of non-EPSON hardware, application software, option and/or parts (i.e. brands that are not approved by EPSON Singapore) with the product.
         
      • The use of non-genuine EPSON consumables.

The consumables of the product (e.g. ink cartridges, toner, lamps etc.) are not covered under the plan unless those parts are found to be faulty.  Set-up and installation of product due to the change of computer specification is not covered under the plan as well.
