Epson is developing three electronic device businesses of semiconductors, liquid crystal displays, and crystal (quartz) device. These constitute the essential core devices of electronic equipment. For any of these three businesses, EPSON can provide electronic products to customers as individual devices or as sets, depending upon customer’s need. Its ability to provide these three types of products together (to function as a single source of supply) is one of EPSON’s strengths.
